Quick Reference

Server Installation

Install Server

sudo rpm -i go-jetstream-<version>.x86_64.rpm
sudo dpkg -i go-jetstream_<version>.deb
Double click on go-jetstream-<version>.msi
Double click on go-jetstream-<version>.pkg

Update Server

sudo rpm -U go-jetstream-<version>.x86_64.rpm
sudo dpkg -i go-jetstream_<version>.deb
Double click on go-jetstream-<version>.msi
Double click on go-jetstream-<version>.pkg

Uninstall Server

sudo rpm -e go-jetstream
sudo dpkg -P go-jetstream
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows System ‣ Control Panel ‣ Programs ‣ Uninstall a program and click Uninstall on the Go:JetStream Server application
sudo launchctl bootout system /usr/local/jetstream/etc/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server.plist
sudo launchctl disable system/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/jetstream
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/jetstream

Server Service

Start Service

sudo systemctl start jetstream-server
sudo systemctl start jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and select start on the Go:JetStream Server service
sudo launchctl bootstrap system /usr/local/jetstream/etc/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server.plist

Restart Service

sudo systemctl restart jetstream-server
sudo systemctl restart jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and select restart on the Go:JetStream Server service
sudo launchctl kickstart -k system/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server

Stop Service

sudo systemctl stop jetstream-server
sudo systemctl stop jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and select stop on the Go:JetStream Server service
sudo launchctl bootout system /usr/local/jetstream/etc/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server.plist

Enable Service on Boot

sudo systemctl enable jetstream-server
sudo systemctl enable jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and set Startup type to Automatic on the Go:JetStream Server service
sudo launchctl enable system/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server

Disable Service on Boot

sudo systemctl disable jetstream-server
sudo systemctl disable jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and set Startup type to Manual on the Go:JetStream Server service
sudo launchctl disable system/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server

Logging

View Server Log

journalctl -u jetstream-server
journalctl -u jetstream-server
View file C:\Program Files\Jet Digital Inc\JetStream Server\log\jetstream-server.log
View file /var/log/jetstream-server.log

Check Service

sudo systemctl status -l jetstream-server
sudo systemctl status -l jetstream-server
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Services and see if the Go:JetStream Server service is running Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Event Viewer and view JetStream events
sudo launchctl print system/io.gojetstream.jetstream-server

Firewalls

Add OS Firewall Exception

sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=8886/tcp --add-port=8886/udp
sudo systemctl restart firewalld
sudo ufw allow 8886
Navigate to Start menu ‣ Windows Administrative Tools ‣ Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security and add an exception for Go:JetStream Server
Navigate to System Preferences ‣ Security & Privacy ‣ Firewall and add an exception for jetstream
