Creating a Watch Folder¶

To create a new Watch Folder.

Select your desired folder on the right-hand side Location in the Send & Receive screen.
right click ‣ Create Watch Folder Automation.

A Dialogue box will appear displaying configuration options for the Watch Folder.

Creating a Watch Folder in a Shared Link¶

A Shared Folder can be configured to allow Watch Folders. This will allow the Share Folder recipient to set up a Watch Folder. The recipient can connect the shared link source to a destination on their local machine.

When creating a shared link, turn on the toggle for Allow watch folder automation located at the bottom of the pop-out window.

After a recipient has entered the shared link on their client application, a pop-out window will appear allowing the configuration of a Watch Folder. This can be completed or skipped and created at a later date.
