- Responsiveness when working with directories containing a large number of files is improved.
- Desktop notifications are presented when a transfer finishes.
- Added a connection tester. This can be used to verify Location settings, and Shared Link downloads. To use, click the “Test Connection” link from the Location editor, or Download Link dialog.
- “Open” button added to the Transfers Monitor. This will open a file browser (Finder, Explorer, etc.) where files were downloaded.
- “Cancel” button added to the transfers “…” menu. This will stop an in-progress transfer and place it into an error state.
- When an active transfer does not have any network activity for over a minute, it will be placed into a “not responding” state, and the progress indicator will turn blue.
- When a transfer is suspended, the application will periodically ping the remote server to prevent a firewall from dropping the idle connection.
- In the Transfers Monitor, the transfer start time now shows seconds.
- Added “duplicate location” button.
- The Locations list now supports multiple selections.
- A username with a blank password is now accepted by the Location editor.
- Shared Links message body is now copied into the clipboard with HTML and plain text versions. Pasting into an HTML-compatible email client will result in improved formatting.

- Added welcome page.
- Added Settings and Locations import and export.
- Added ability for superusers (see server documentation) to view all transfers on the server.
- An error message will be displayed if an attempt to monitor a location fails due to connection issues. Previously, it would fail silently.
- /Users/user name/Downloads is now the default downloads folder. Previously, it was the root of the file system.
- Fixed an issue where tool-tip documentation would be cut off in some cases.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to quit the application with a keyboard shortcut would fail.
1.3.0¶
- Fixed an issue where switching to the Current Location could display stale contents in the accompanying browser.
- Fixed an issue where quickly clicking the Send button repeatedly could cause the application to crash.
- Added a New Folder button to the Destination file browser.
- Added a Refresh Current Location button to allow a manual refresh of the content shown in the Current Location browser.
- Added navigation breadcrumbs to the Current Location and Destination browsers.
- Changed the default Maximum Send Rate to 50Mbit/second. This change affects only new Locations; existing Locations will preserve the current value for this setting.
- Transfers are now started asynchronously, allowing the application to remain responsive while the required server negotiations are completed. This constitutes some changes to the behavior of the Send button:
- Once a transfer is initiated, the Send button switches its label to Working.
- While a transfer is being negotiated, the Send button (showing Working) remains unavailable until the transfer has been successfully started, or the negotiation fails. Preparing a new manifest, either on the same server or a different server, does not enable the Send button. This is because the application is only capable of tracking a single transfer negotiation at a time.
- Once a transfer negotiation is completed, successful or not, the Send button is immediately made active again, provided a valid server connection and manifest is available. This differs from the previous behavior, where the Send button remained dimmed until the server connection or manifest was changed.
